Beerhammer - Gauging interest

Hey everyone, 

Looking to see if there would be enough interest to attend a Beerhammer tourney. This would be not at Nexus due to the alcohol issue (there's no bar there yet!). 

Simple yes or no. 

If this happens it will be:

- in October (you know, Octoberfest)
- $50 (to cover costs such as hall rental, bartenders, terrain etc.
- In Harrowsmith (20 minutes north of Kingston) - this is due to otherwise atrocious costs of rentals in Kingston (unless there's someone who is affiliated with the local base as we had a tourney with a bar there years ago)
- one day event. 
- 1500 points
- beer hammer rules
- beer hammer themed missions

I can investigate options with with an institute on base (or an affiliated service club) that can serve alcohol and has space. Costs may or may not be less than a private hall. Rules are a bit tighter these days on stuff like that, but it will not hurt to ask!

Never played it but why not? Ummm ... is an EXTREMELY high resistance to alcohol considered cheating?

I'm in.

Pre-covid i ran an event at a mess on base. The space, bartender, and pizza both days cost me ~300$ for the whole weekend.  For a one dayer cost would likely be under 200$

I know thet are back to booking events but not sure what the restrictions or costs are atm.
