Yeah its a nice article... My cousin is starting Nids and he told me is 1850 list. It seems to be really good on paper will see on table against my BA what he can do...

I actually like my nid army... and find it works out okay against most lists... Dark Eldar though... yikes...
...but admittedly I go for a close combat swarm and do not have enough shooting to supress... so DE are always going to be a rough match up for me....

Yeah I've followed a number of nid threads by Kirby and the continuous debates on Warseer. Always some interesting discussion and ideas. Glad you like your nid army and that its working for you against SW, IG, BA and GK.

Nids were always one of the armies i liked when i was thinking of starting, with tau and space marine (grey knights being the ones i liked the most of them). if i ever finish my other two armies i would be interested in starting one of them if i have the money and time lol

Nids were the army I wanted to start with but ended up with Tau, then started a nid army about a year later. If you want to play nids I would suggest reading the codex thoroughly and playing proxy armies for a long time before spending money on models to be sure you know what you want and are happy with the dex. Go in with your eyes wide open to the problems with the dex. That will save you some aggravation.
I have about 4000-5000 points of nids but would still need to spend hundreds of dollars to build up the army with models that I don't have or have enough of in the brood (eg I only have 4 hive guard and some lists really need at least 6 or I only have 19 gargoyles but some lists could use 40-60). It just depends on what you want to use and the level you want to play.
