Was looking at the multitude of options for making D&D maps and projecting onto a screen. Foundry looks cool but hurts my brain trying to figure it out (and reports I've read / heard from users say it's pretty labour intensive).
Cost isn't really my issue (some of the free ones are fairly "meh" for final product). Ease of use. Speed of use. Options such as fog of war. A player vs. DM view (so I can have notes etc. not seen by the players).
Don't want to spend countless hours drawing a dungeon map... but I need it to look good and be easy to call up and manipulate on screen.
Thus far the best option I've researched SEEMS to be Arkenforge (foundry highly rated but complicated).
Any thoughts anyone has about options like this they've tried and found successful?
