I finally got off my ass and built a model for the game two days ago. I'll prime it today. It's a giant of some kind.

It is primed. Took a while as it's too humid to use a spray can outside, and I don't own an airbrush (Or have a set up conductive to one), so I have to prime things with a brush.
Paint will soon follow.

Beyond saying it's a giant, I forgot to say what it actually is. It's a Frost Giant. Thing is as tall as a Mega Gargant (maybe slightly taller) from AoS, but a fraction of the price.
I have some other stuff lying around as well. Mostly Northern Alliance stuff. After the giant is painted, I'll assemble some of them. However, it will have to wait for me to be done work today.

So, I was going to paint earlier, but saw that I missed a few spots when I brushed primer on the model. The joys of applying primer by brush..... Not the first time this has happened to me, and it won't be the last.
So, instead I went over it again, making sure to hit the areas that didn't have primer. Mostly just stuff in the various nooks and crannys (is that how I spell it? Please correct me if I'm wrong). And oh boy, does this thing ever have a lot of them.
I think that when I got back to it, if it's still bare in some spots, I'll apply again, but assemble some things too, so I still get to do something hobby related.

I feel your brush primer pain. I have done that with a few models for one reason or another (I hate cans/air brush was unavailable).
What colour do you prime? I recently discovered why it's a bad idea to mix my black and white into a colour that sprays on in what can only be called "sprue grey". Was not easy to see what I'd missed.
Hope the cold giant is fun to paint! I'm about to start my warptalons and chaos marines this weekend. Hurrah for trim!

I prefer to use black primer whenever possible. I've tried brush on white primer in the past, and found it had horrible coverage compared to black brush on primer.
I'm about to inspect the giant, so fingers crossed I won't have to reapply anything.

Update: It looks like it's fully covered now, with no need to put primer in small nooks and such.
