I'm satisfied with my paint scheme. Nothing fancy, but it took a little bit of playing to get the purple that I wanted. Now, on to the hard part. Choosing a base. Wanted to go with a more dry and barren look. Some dead grass, broken bits of rubble, and dry wind-blown dirt. imgur.com/a/88yMzInI did up four tests, similar, but each leaning more or less toward grey, yellow, and brown. Not sure which works best with the purple and gold. I am also open to suggestions from anyone else. This post also serves as a test for imgur. Let's see if I did it right!

The deep rich people is solid. This is a really great color that you can bounce tons of contrast with light punks and blues off of throughout the army.
Can't wait to see more.

These all look great! Personally I love the base furthest right. The darker ground seems to tie in nice with the purple.

Yeah I like the wave effect on it and the depth it gives, the center left one is pretty nice too, but I like the dynamic/difference between all of them.
