Rules question / strategy re. changes to Sisters Secondary: Leap of Faith. I'm wondering if there is any reason you can't take advantage of the Beacon of Faith WL Trait to generate more miracle dice to discard to the secondary? Beacon of Faith specifies that you can only USE the miracle dice for acts of faith performed by that warlord but it doesn't say anything about discarding it for an objective. I saw someone at a tournament using the Battle Sanctum to do essentially the same thing this weekend. I assume it's legal but just want to make sure I'm not missing something.
New version reads: A LEAP OF FAITH Progressive Objective Faith alone can overturn the universe. At the end of the battle round, you can discard one Miracle Dice (this cannot be a Cherub dice) from your miracle dice pool. If you do so, you will gain a number of VP depending on the value of the Miracle dice that you discarded, as shown below. You can score a maximum of 12VP from this secondary objective per battle.
Beacon of Faith reads: At the start of your Command phase, if this Warlord is on the battlefield, you gain 1 Miracle dice. This Miracle dice can only be used when your Warlord performs an Act of Faith or uses a Miraculous ability, and if not used by the start of your next Command phase, it is discarded. This Miracle dice can be used to perform an Act of Faith even if another unit from your army has already performed an Act of Faith this phase.

Totally fine to use this miracle die for the secondary as it is still a miracle dice generated.

I hate to be the bad/unfun guy. But technically speaking you can't make this work.
By the rules of the positive permission rules system, when a rule specifies what you may do, you may only do those specified things.
If the warlord trait just stated "gain 1 additional miracle die", you'd be good to go.
But instead, the rule directly and specifically states how that extra die may be used. Meaning you can only use it for the specific actions in the rule.
I would suggest this should be submitted to GW FAQ dept, because there's a chance I'm wrong and this is just an overlooked interaction, but given the rule is so specific it's far more likely my explanation is the intended way to resolve this.

It's still a miracle die, therefore you can discard it. It doesn't say "discard one miracle die unless that miracle die is only usable by your warlord". It's in the pool, therefore you can discard it.
That's how I'm ruling it for clubs
