Silly question: core rules for GA2 operatives state "must be activated in group"etc etc....my question is though can you design a KT around only ONE GA2 operative? It would be like one of your GA2 operatives had been incapacitated....I'm assuming it could still activate?....first foray into GA2 teams. Thinking Navis Breachers.

"If an operative has a Group Activation of more than 1, it must be activated in a group, rather than individually. In such cases the player selects one friendly ready operative and activates it. When that operative’s activation ends, they then select another ready friendly operative of the same type to be activated. They repeat this process until they have activated the number of operatives specified by that operative’s Group Activation characteristic, or there are no more friendly operatives of that type to activate."

So does that mean if your using a GA2 operative you have to have a minimum of two GA2 type of units in the list.

I would think you must be able to include only one. Otherwise strictly following the rules you can’t comply if you had two and one died.

I think the intent is to strengthen weaker operatives by allowing two or more to work together during an activation. Whether this is valuable or an impediment is up to you.... |

You can take a single operative that has GA2. You won't be able to benefit from GA if you don't have a second model with GA2.
I have to do this with the kroot. The normal kroot warriors and kroot hounds have GA2 but if I take all of the specialists I will only be able to take a single kroot warrior and two hounds or vice versa.

yeah it's on page 59 in bold, if you have no more GA2 operatives to activate they you just do the one.
