Hey folks I’ve had the idea of making a set of 40K terrain to donate to Nexus for a while now but have been procrastinating. So I figured if I put an expectation out there that will give me sufficient motivation.
To be clear we are going budget friendly here so temper your expectations, but I’ll do my best to make it look pretty. What I’m curious about is what people would like to see. Either:
1. GW style terrain - 4 square ruins with a 12”x 12” footprint for obscuring and 2 smaller 4”x 8” ish ruins with a footprint for obscuring also 4 woods / crater pieces.
2. Frontline Gaming Syle - 2 Large ruins, 4 small ruins (2 with open windows 2 closed) some crates and woods / craters
3. Yolo have fun make some assorted pieces.

I'll be honest I have a couple of home made terrain bits I'm gonna be donating to nexus as I have no room at home for storage anymore. and my plan is to make some random terrain stuff as a break between projects and just give it all to nexus lol.
I have fairly big castle ruin, made before I started playing 40k, so not the best. I also have a wierd oil refinery thing I made out of a jelly bean container, and pipes from from some kids play set to go with it. I'll probably drop them off on Saturday.

Your sizes on the GW pieces aren't correct. From one of the TO's mouth he listed them as 4x 12"x12", 2x 5"x10" and 4x 4"x6" segments. I don't have the link to the original place I found it, but it's what I've been using for the tables I'm manufacturing currently. Thought it might help so that you don't have people pick apart the finished product for not being the "correct sizes". |
