My chums got me some aggressors which are built and primed.
I treated myself to a dreadnought.(bday).. Also built.. and primed with a rattle can... For some reason paint just won't stick and he feels ruined...
Anyway.. pics soon pinky swear

The issue MIGHT be the paint. Likelier there was too much release agent on the model. Check the can for what removes it, then clean off/strip the paint (do NOT immerse as you don't want to fill it with liquid if there are any holes not filled with glue or green stuff), then wash the model with a good dish soap and water (again, do NOT immerse). Keep in mind some solvents will damage plastic. I've had good luck with Simple Green. You will probably want a child's toothbrush to clean out details. You can then re-coat and the paint should stick properly. Some extra time and effort, but you should be able to salvage it.

I ended up trying to continue painting the poorly primed dreadnought. (not listening to advice) Fully painted, although super thick.. the dreadnought was ready for oil. Gonna varnish it and keep going, figured I'd drop a progress picture. And I finished the last of the LOTR figures... Tried my hand at an OSL style effect on Gandalf. Didn't do a good job of it, but I tried š imgur.com/a/dbQDLCb

Well, decals are on and eyes are āpaintedā on my infernos marines.
I am very much in the ugly phase of a biloguous, and the two folks I need to finish my combat patrol..
The goal is to get these ready to learn big 40k, however every time a model is ādoneā it gets stared at long enough that I go back and do something to it!
Also I have a bunch of based minis on grassland-vibe bases.. since the salamanders are already green I kinda regret the green on greenā¦ maybe different basing for different groupsā¦. Not like I have a uniform green for my team anyway.
Posting this to hopefully continue the motivation
Really trying to Paint without buying, just using up all the stuff I have rather than constantly searching for more
