I spent many hours studying his artwork in the various books from GW I have had pass through my hands over the years.

I didn't realize he was still there. GW not crediting artists is kind of terrible honestly- he was instrumental in shaping the world's aesthetic during its most crucial time of early expansion and if his name weren't on his works we'd have no idea who he was today

I went to Games Day 2001 in Baltimore and got him, CL Werner and Mike Lee to all sign a poster. It remains one of the treasures of my 40K collection. I grew up with his artwork, he IS the grimdark of 40 that we know.
