You know for 300points. 10 warriors, trazyn, and a ghost ark would be very useful. Did they change his rule (haven’t picked up my codex yet) for surrogate host? Can he attach to a unit of 6 wraiths by replacing the Cryptek? Ghost Ark is less useful as it can only do the revive once per turn instead of each phase now and you can't target the same warriors with multiple Arks.
As for Surrogate Host, it says this: Now Trazyn's datasheet says he can only be attached to Immortals, Warriors and Lychguard.
But at the same time SH says you can slecet any infantry Necron character and if said character was leading a unit, Trazyn is now attached. No limitations on what character and what unit we're talking about.
I can't say which rule would come into play here. I'd assume the limits to which he can attach to but that's just me.
As for rules, battlescribe is updated with the Necrons codex if nothing else.

sounds like by the words of what it specifically says, Trazyn will attach to that unit as it's leader.
I mean, you have to kill another character to do it, but it's spelled out pretty clearly as working.

Its cool that he can transfer even if he is full health. Could make some nifty objective scoring as you port him around objectives

And honestly there is no reason to use SH in this edition. Trazyn is a 75 point sticky objective generator and that's it. He doesn't even have the abilities of regular Overlords.
Not to mention killing a wraith-attached technomancer for Trazyn would be a massive downgrade for the unit. He can't move as fast and they lose their FnP.

So, first game review of my Canoptek Court test-list.
The new Wraiths kick all kinds of ass and even outside the power field, the reroll ones really helps with their to-hit rate. Also the mortal wound ability is easier to proc than you think since you only need to swipe an enemy unit with a single modle while moving and you still get the full 6 (or 7 if a cryptek is attached) 4+ mortal wound rolls. You can even proc the ability using that 6' reactive move strat.
Tesla Immortals+Plasmancer+Szeras equals pain and death for anything below toughness ten; particularly if the target is on an objective (Immortals can reroll all wounds then instead of 1s). However even with Szeras nerfing enemy AP, this force can die very quickly if focused on so you have to make it count.
Also the constantly sprinkling of mortals wounds from the Wraiths and plasmancers was starting to add up over the course of the game. Might not wipe out units but it's free damage that you can just constantly apply to the enemy.
The Doomstalkers were nice but I found them a bit anemic damage-wise. You'll probably want to bring a bit more anti-tank than just relying on them. Though that could just be my bad rolls.

Right, after further testing the Doomstalkers are going back on the shelf. Even with full rerolls they just do not cut it. Fortunately with some tweaking to the list I can fit in several groups of heavy destroyers and a pair of Doomsday Arks.
Might not get the rerolls but they both hit harder and are more accurate.

I thought your list was really good, but I agree that the Doomstalkers seemed to underperform. Swapping them for two more mobile Arks would be something to try. Still, the Stalkers took a lot of attention, which allowed the Heavy Destroyers to do some work.

Oh sure, but dropping the scarabs, stalkers and mucking around with which enhancements I take; end up with space for six Heavy destroyers (probably three groups of two) and two D.Arks.

I'm starting to think the Canpotek Court might be pretty strong.

I'm starting to think the Canpotek Court might be pretty strong. It can be but everything centers around very squishy Crypteks.
If the enemy has snipers and/or has other sources of precision attacks, your effectiveness drops like a rock.

In our last game, once I figured out that all the buffs were coming from a 4W no Invul character my Judiciar knew what he had to do. Might bring Eliminators now as I think Canoptek Court might be popular.

Right, first practice with the Hypercrypt and I've learned three things: Devastating Wound flamers are a C'Tan's bane, the T.Vault still isn't good, and just 6 heavy destroyers are not enough anti-tank. C'tan Shard of the Nightbringer Transcendant C'tan
Imotekh the Stormlord Chronomancer Chronomancer Overlord with Translocation Shroud: Arisen Tyrant (rerolls) Immortals 10x Immortal with Tesla carbine Immortals 10x Immortal with Gauss blaster Lokhust Heavy Destroyers 2x Destroyer w/ gauss destructor: 2x Close combat weapon, 2x Gauss destructor Lokhust Heavy Destroyers 2x Destroyer w/ gauss destructor: 2x Close combat weapon, 2x Gauss destructor 6x Wraith w/ claws and particle caster + Technomancer Doomsday Ark Doomsday Ark
Improves anti-heavy capability, makes the Arisen Tyrant more effective (gauss blasters hunting for lethal hits since no room for Szeras) and gives me a third melee centric unit.
