The Semifinals' closest location will be Millenium games and hobbies. Gonna see if the wife can get Sept 17th off so I can go to that too! Edit : WHOO she does have it off work. Semi-finals here I come! (If I do win, the obvious army to ask for cost-wise would be Sisters as they're the only full metal army to date. )

Yeah, saw that. It's about the same driving distance to the place in NY. So gonna talk it over with the wife and see.

Well actually Hamilton is going to likely have all the qualifiers from Toronto... so given there's limited space, GW says to call ahead to the store when you know you're going there... so NY might have more space come to think of it....
When you win (how's that for confidence?) I don't know if I'd go sisters given the PDF treatment they're getting... (you'll be able to find out in a couple weeks if the second installment made them any better)... even though they're all metal and would cost GW the most!

Yeah, haha. I'm honestly almost entirely set on Chaos Space Marines at this point. As they look like a fun play, and will be getting an update next year.
And I'd actually be able to get motivated to paint up a Night Lords themed army.

Was appropriately 6th place, but decided to be a nice guy about my last game which was overall a lot of bad luck. So didn't place. Major victory for me in the first game, Massacre with full points for me in the second, and would have been a minor loss in the third for me, but gave him full points since it was literally that close (And I had 7 models left on the board at that point.)

Tom/Guy - I'd be interested to know how many people played at your locations and the types/numbers of armies that showed up.
