I think the sword brethren squad size went up, not actually the cost per model. Purgation squads fire indirect right? The strands of fate change, while I understand it needed to be nerfed, it is annoying that they didn't just make it like miracle dice where it's one per unit per phase. At this rate some games you probably won't even go through your starting 12. not that someone would do it here... but I think it's to prevent 3 D-cannons and 3 wraithknights from all chucking mortals in a single phase.

I'm no expert on aeldari but I've done enough math to know that the odds of getting 12 out of 12 usable results are pretty low. I think most of those rolls worth keeping will get used, and perhaps even come up short, in a fair number of games. But on occasion ... "Vegas, baby"! Farseer lets you flip them to 6's as well. Plus you can reroll (dropping a dice) if you want. it gets pretty oppressive. I think last week out of 9 GT's there were only two that didn't have Aeldari vs. Aeldari in the final? (according to goonhammer at least)

Love this change. You can punish your opponent on opportunities and feels like you can control fate but it's once a phase so you need to actually play all the phases of the game to have the most opportunity. Thanks GW.

The change means Aeldari will mulligan their fate dice more aggressively, which is fine. More than once per phase was far too powerful given the mulligan rule and Farseers on top. Not so sure about towering staying intact... as Derek said it's just going to force gaming communities to adapt their terrain most likely which will make the rule pointless anyways so the price increase is a bit of a strange way to tackle it. Points going up on indirect firers makes perfect sense though they all seemed undercosted in general.
