Good day Commanders, We are now at the end of Turn 1. Unfortunately Steve had to drop the campaign due to scheduling conflicts so Southstafford manages to take control of the Karmavethan Industrial Sector. Here is the updated map of conquest. The warriors of the Space wolves, at great expense, rout the defenders of the Karmavethan Industrial Sector in a whirlwind of slaughter, tearing through the cramped hab-tunnels and manufactoria. They are bloodied and bruised, but reap a significant toll of veterans while securing important resource facilities. The All-Father smiles on his Executioners. On the other side of Sidenankor, the Alpha Legion are battered by the tides of World Eaters but manage to severely injure a high ranking Officer. The Eaters of World manage to conduct a fighting retreat, marshalled by the will of their Chaplain, through the frozen factory grounds of the upper levels of the Forges, leaving a tide of broken, mutilated Alpha Legion infiltrators. The Mechanicum, after deliberation, agree to assist the Alpha Legion with a detachment of cybernetica. This alliance is one of convenience, nothing more, and both the Serpent and the Iron Lords of the Mechanicum know this will only end in treachery. Please send me your moves so we can move on to the second turn of the campaign! Attachments:

Good day, Commanders!
The next stage of the war for Sidenankor is upon us! Here is the movement map.
The Dark Angels strike to the south, attacking the Plains of Vekz. They are eager to consolidate more territory and forcing Jarl Brokentooth to deal with two different fronts.
The Imperial Fists and Alpha Legion both consolidate territory to their north, with the Alpha Legion in particular regrouping to recoup their losses to the blades of the World Eaters.
Finally, the Space Wolves and the World Eaters both clash in the arid tox wastes of Narkun. The dead plains will be stained by the blood of these most savage of the Astartes Legions.
I'll slightly change the rules for losses. Each territory at base gives you 300 points each turn to replace your losses. When you are the defender, you automatically get to use 2000 points even if your attacking force has taken heavy losses to represent your commanders allocating emergency personnel to defence. On the attack, if you lose the game you lose half your points from that force, with another 100 if you lose your warlord. These can all be replenished given enough time and is more to limit attacking the same territory each turn - you need time to rebuild your force if they've been broken by the defenders. You are allowed to attack with an understrength army if you desire, and you can also move points around. For example, let's say I have two 2k assault forces. I lose a game with one and now have a total of 3600 points over both forces. I can choose to make them two 1700 pt forces and attack again, though I'll be at a disadvantage.
Let me know if you've got any questions, ideas or feedback. Good luck out there!

Quick additional reminder: Some territories also give additional advantages: Forges of Bovundia: must defeat NPC mech to prove worthiness of alliance OR have control of karmavethan industrial sector, giving access to mech allies. Agis penal colony: when controlling the facilities let's you take three free squads of levy that cannot score to represent prisoner chaff Mines of Chiland: advanced communication arrays give you reserve rerolls. Karmavethan industrial sector: large reserves of combi-weapons spare parts and ammunition, makes minor combiweapons reroll to wound Naito hive city: local solar auxilia regiment barters their service for protection of their city, gives access to solar auxilia allies Khabunese Wastes: large landing area, higher replenishment rate for losses (2x normal rate for that territory)
Once you reach 7 territories (or 6 if one of those are the Khabunese wastes) you're getting 2100 points per turn, which will let you create a third 2k attack force and thus make three attacks per turn instead of two. Also, remember characters can only be with one force at a time!

Any recommendations for games to be played for the next round? ZM? Etc? Both of these fights will be happening in far less cramped quarters than the industrial sectors so I would recommend the normal ruleset for both. Additionally I would recommend bringing a few more vehicles in your list to represent how the terrain is more suitable for them but that's up to you!

Good day Commanders, We are now at the third stage of the Bleeding of Sidenankor. A dark day for the Space Wolves: The forces of the Dark Angels break the defense of the Plains of Vekz and severely injure Jarl Brokentooth. In an effort to curtail their losses, the Wolves cede the Tox Wastes of Narkun to the maddened hordes of Garrek Thaxxos, leaving them ever hungrier for carnage. The Wolves regroup and entrench themselves in the Karmavethan Industrial Sector, hoping to rebuild their strength and mourn their dead following the Rites of Old Fenris. The Imperial Fist Garrison slowly extend their territory, but their Commanders know they need to focus their Astartes forces on defending their fortress, and thus leave further outreach to their well trained mortal auxiliaries, their duty towards their Genefather winning over their thirst for Traitor blood. The perfidious Alpha Legion strengthen their hold on the Northern territories, biding their time to strike. SouthStafford will regrettably not be able to play over the next two weeks because of scheduling issues so i would appreciate you guy focusing on attacking other territories till then for the sake of keeping the game flowing. Only one more neutral territory so I'm expecting we'll see far more battles this turn. Send me your next moves! Its going to get bloody. Attachments:

Good morning Commanders,
We are now ready to face the third phase of the campaign!
The Dark Angels territories are growing rapidly, so Honoured Apharon tasks his strike tens to capture the Warfield observatories, desiring it's more robust communication arrays. In response to this, the mortal auxillaries of the Imperial Fists flank them at Chawbicia, hoping to cut off the forces in Warfield. Meanwhile, the World Eaters decide to attempt to capture the Forges of Bovundia once again, their seething hatred for the Alpha Legion as important a motivator as the desire for mechanicum assistance. The western forces of the World Eaters move in to Naito hive, venting their frustration from the Tox-wastes on the civilian population. Finally, the perfidious Alpha Legion meet the World Eaters at the Forges, attempting to push into the Tulduch Hab-zone.
For the combat at Chawbicia, I recommend playing with the normal rulea and 150 extra points for Kalen to represent the DA getting flanked while attacking Watfield.
For Watfield, I recommend Zone Mortalis to represent fighting in the observatory facilities
For the forges/Tulduch, I'm attacking the WE home territory which means Trevor gets an extra 300 points. The fate of both territories will be decided in one battle, and we'll be using normal rules to represent fighting on the border zones of the two zones.
Let me know if you've got any questions! Good luck out there commanders

In a twist of fate, the imperial fist contingent was recalled to terra for the upcoming siege. In their place they have left reinforced imperial militia reserves to carry on the fight.

Played a great game for turn 3. The sneaky Alpha Legion infiltrated and wreaked havoc on the World Eaters armoured column. The World Eaters assault squad deep striked into the Alpha Legion deployment zone, hoping to turn the tide of battle. A lone sniper intercepted them from across the battlefield and took out the Sgt. All in all a fun game with lots of fluffy moments from the Alpha Legion! http://instagram.com/p/C0MjWUEufvj

Hey gang, Sorry for the delay. I’ve managed to get one of two games done with Kalen. Unfortunately, I likely won’t be able to get the next game in until next week sometime. I don’t want to slow things down for anyone else so if you guys want to make additional moves please go ahead.

Finally the Dark Angels battled with the Imperial Fists in Zone Mortalis. The first legion attacked the fists, destroying their blast doors and wearing down several units. As the battle waged on the Phalanx Warders tanked more and more wounds. The first legion lost their praetor in a duel and weren’t able to push into the defenders lair. Victory for the first 6-5.
