Well as opposed to doing a bunch of threads as I slowly figure out the new admech book I figure I’ll post one thread where I post basically all the lists as I figure them ou. Going to start off with 2 lists one for each of the detachments that draw my eyes the most. Starting with cohort cybernetica!

This detachment gives me (wait for it) my army rule on kastellan robots and datasmiths!!!!! I hope you were sitting down because that’s the best detachment ability in the game I know (not). The detachment does give me lots of cool strategems and enhancements for vehicles such as the main enhancement I’m running the datasmith that will be with my punchy kastellans. It lets me 0 out a damage down to a friendly admech vehicle within 12”. Actually very strong on a unit of kastellan robots running up the board looking to smash face! I can also use a stratagem on them giving them +3 to move and +1 to advance and charge! Melee robots are back on the menu boys! The rest of the list basically is usual admech decent stuff (breachers yay) and some more tanks because that’s what’s really good in this detachment. Especially dragoons which can advance and charge now. Really good combo of some dragoons moving minimum 15” (if my advance is 1) then charging.

Next up explorator maniple

This detachment lets me choose an objective marker to be my acquisition target and if I’m either on the objective or shooting something that’s on the objective my unit gets re roll wound rolls of 1. A couple cool strats are things like being able to choose 2 acquisition markers for 1cp as opposed to 1. This works really well with the magos enhancement which on a 4+ generates me a cp if I’m on my acquisition marker. So I can set my backfield as the first one then use the Strat to pick one for more aggressive moves. Also there’s a Strat that lets me have a smockscreen unit give cover and stealth to infantry within 6”. Considering how big my crawlers bases are that’s roughly a medium pizza sized bubble. The logi enhancement on the manipulus gives his unit 3+ ballistic skill so I’ll probably be putting him with the destroyers. The genetor enhancement gives the dominus’ unit a 4++ when they’re on the acquisition target. So a 4++/5+++ on some breachers to make them stupid tanky.
