Now to decide which army to work on first; most likley Bretonians, but I also have an O&G army and Warriors of Chaos I can field now too. I still have my Dark Elves too, but with them not being part of the main narrative, they may have to wait until they are official brought into the story line

I believe all the armies are in their respective "good guy / bad guy" book....

I believe all the armies are in their respective "good guy / bad guy" book.... From what I have read, the Good guy/Bad guy books contain the 9 Core Armies that will currently be part of the Old World Time line and are the ones to likely receive support first The armies not included in those Core Armies (referred to as Legacy Armies) are getting a free PDF list to make them playable, but won't be getting any support any time soon since they aren't part the current narrative. So they will be playable, but won't get any extra rules/books until they are added to the narrative at some much later date. www.warhammer-community.com/2023/05/23/old-world-development-diary-the-main-factions-revealed/(the related article I was able to find)

Just a heads up for everyone but GW is spilling their guts about bases sizes on one of the favmcebook posts. It's the one about painting Knights. Once they have a complete coherent list I'll update

Damn but those are some eye watering prices on the metal kits. Not a chance. Soo many cheaper, better options out there.
Contrast that with the tomb guard. $95 for 20 elite models is pretty good by today's standards. They aren't new obviously, but as far as GW's nonsense goes, I'm not complaining.
I hope the foot knights end up being close to that. I actually wanted to use those to kitbash some soulblight grave guard.
Old world looks interesting, but I can't see building an army for it that I couldn't also use for AoS.

wow... those prices...
WHFB was always the pricer game but damn... 3 Ushabi for $100?
was sorely tempted to take a flyer and pick up the tomb kings box but it ended up being like $100 more than I thought, so now I'm pausing....

Someone on this forum can 3d print some awesome looking tomb kings stuff. I just can't remember who.
We should embrace the 3d print stuff instead of paying GW prices. Some are a deal like that Tomb Kings box but other stuff is just wild.
Says the guy that's buying expensive books from GW which is the most dangerous gamble of all lol

it's more because this would have been an impulse purchase, and they price those around the $250 ish mark for a new box release that is meant to bring you into a game. I honestly don't mind paying for product I'm going to use (it keeps me with a place to play games and run tournaments after all!) it was more a comment on the outlandish pricing for a game that is more trying to pull on nostalgia... not trying to remind us of why the original WHFB failed utterly at the end - greed.
WHFB had some REAL pricing issues by the end, and I hoped (especially with mostly old sculpts) that wouldn't be an issue with the return, that they realized what caused their downfall last time with the system.
It wasn't the rules, as that could be adjusted easily (especially now). It was just WAY too pricey for new players to get into the game and the existing players had their armies built so weren't buying more when the prices went crazy.
