Trenton, Ganonoque, Brockville, Belleville, Smiths Falls, etc...
I know Trenton has an active gaming community that regularly hosts organized & sponsored tournaments but do any of the other places? If they did, it would be interesting to have a Tournament of Champions, where each place sent a certain number of players to represent their communities and battle over a regional trophy or something... like a Limestone City Invitational or whatever. Just an idea.

Trenton is the only other Gaming Community that I know of besides hitting the larger cities (TO and Montreal). From my travels, I don't even know of any gaming stores East of Kingston (Gan, Brockvegas, Prescott, etc..) Mind you it's been a long time since I was spending a lot of time in those places, but while there I never found or heard of any stores that carried Warhammer.

I really love this idea, a team-based tournament for both Fantasy and 40K (i play Fantasy so i had to throw that in  More clearly, Kingston Warhammer could challenge others to an epic battle, War of ontario! |

Yeah, nothing around Gan or Brockvegas....When GW Canada was still up and running it was one of my projects to try and get something going around there, but no stores were willing to get it in. Great Games and Toys in Gan considered it, as did the comic shop in Brockville, but no one would pull the trigger.
There are players that way, but most of them either head here or into Ottawa.

For what it's worth, even though it's in the early stages, there's a local gamer in Brockville who has begun to organize things in his area and a storeowner in Belleville has agreed to coordinate things with us if we're interested. Brad and I have also spoken to people across the border in Watertown & Syracuse and they sounded interested as well. The next time I speak to you Matt I'll pass on the details.
I'll continue to gather more info within the next couple weeks.
