With Necrons I don't see the competitive tournament lists changing all that much. Because while some things got cheaper, it doesn't change which units are more viable than others.
Prime example would be Technomancer+Wraiths versus the S.Destroyers+S.Lord. Sure the latter is cheaper now but they're a lot squishier than the former combo. And I've found that durability is very important for melee units since by and large, the enemy has one turn of shooting them before you can get into engagement range.

I think in both Awakened and Hypercrypt S. Lord + Destroyers are actually a decent threat. They usually kill whatever unit they go into compared to wraiths. And both can have a 9 inch deep strike. Personally, if I run Hypercrypt - I'll run a monolith and S. Lord brick so I can eternity gate them. Wraiths I think are a lot weaker in Hypercrypt now with the points. I played a game against Shannon with awakened and my destroyer brick killed a Bloodthirster in one activation (without the charge damage - rolled a 1) and then they did a decent chunk of damage when they got charged by Belakor. Wraiths... just wouldn't have done that. (The wraiths got charged by the Bloodthirster and died immediatly).

-Shrug- I'll admit that I haven't had a ton of experience with S.Destroyers; mostly since I have multiple options that are a good deal better at putting down big targets; namely D.Arks and heavy destroyers.
Melee forces (aside from C'Tan) for me, are for distracting the gunline, attacking MEQs, jumping on forward objectives and potentially doing actions. And when comes to drawing fire, Wraiths have an additional wound, 4+ Invul and their technomancer gives a 5+ FNP while being able to repair any partially healed wraiths on my turn.
Yes, they have less S and AP than S.Destroyers (though in Awakened you can use a 1pt strat to make them hit just as hard provided they're being led) but they can soak immense amounts of damage in comparison. And every turn your enemy is devoting half to all of their army trying to kill the wraiths, is another turn you can shoot back unmolested/rack up points.
And in all honesty, I've tried Hypercrypt but it never worked for me. The required tactics just run counter to my mentality or something. I've had far better success with CC and Awakened.

You can now officially field 27 crisis suits and 3 coldstar and 3 enforcer commanders and still have 50 points left over for upgrades…..

Looking at 1500$ in suits.... but it is a hell of a build for flexing. Would be kinds cool to see tho. I was super excited to see all the kroot down point except for normal and farstalker which took a massive hit. 55 up to 75 on kroot is rough stuff.

Yeah, it really kills the 120 kroot build dead in the water. I'm hoping that points get adjusted down by 1 PPM on Karnivores, so they're not penalized, but still playable en masse.
