Well, might as well poke the idea though I'll need to mess around a bit to figure out how to get the best aura overlaps etc:
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ + FACTION KEYWORD: Xenos - Necrons + DETACHMENT: Starshatter Arsenal + TOTAL ARMY POINTS: 1995pts + WARLORD: Char1: Imotekh the Stormlord + NUMBER OF UNITS: 14 + SECONDARY: - Bring It Down: (4x2) - Assassination: 5 Characters +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Char1: 1x Imotekh the Stormlord (100 pts): Warlord, Gauntlet of Fire, Staff of the Destroyer Char2: 1x Plasmancer (65 pts): CHRONO‑IMPEDANCE FIELDS (25) Char3: 1x Lokhust Lord (80 pts): Lord's blade Char4: 1x Lokhust Lord (80 pts): Lord's blade DEMANDING LEADER (10) Char5: 1x Overlord with Translocation Shroud (85 pts): Resurrection orb, Overlord's blade DREAD MAJESTY (30)
10x Immortals (150 pts): 10 with Close combat weapon, Tesla carbine
10x Lychguard (170 pts): 10 with Hyperphase sword and dispersion shield 6x Lokhust Destroyers (180 pts): 6 with Close combat weapon, Gauss cannon 6x Lokhust Destroyers (180 pts): 6 with Close combat weapon, Gauss cannon 3x Lokhust Heavy Destroyers (165 pts): 3 with Close combat weapon, Gauss destructor 1x Annihilation Barge (105 pts): Armoured bulk, Twin tesla destructor, Gauss cannon 1x Doomsday Ark (190 pts): Armoured bulk, Doomsday cannon, 2x Gauss flayer array 1x Doomsday Ark (190 pts): Armoured bulk, Doomsday cannon, 2x Gauss flayer array 1x Doomsday Ark (190 pts): Armoured bulk, Doomsday cannon, 2x Gauss flayer array
Overlord+Plasmancer with the Immortals while buffing the gunline, Stormlord with the LG charging into the enemy and the LLs attach to the 6 man destroyer units. Meanwhile the barge bounces around taking potshots/grabbing objectives and the Arks do their thing.

That is terrifying.

The problem would be that it has very little to stop an onrushing melee list (Orks, Kroot Rampagers, World Eaters, Black Templars etc) without shooting them off the board turn one or two. IE a similar situation to T'au gunlines.
Because one Lychguard block is not enough to act as a roadblock for very long.

3 doomsday arks and 15 destroyers will always be terrifying.

For Saturdays it looks cool and thematic. For something like Clubs I have some suggestions to think about.
I think you have lots of killing power but what are you using to play missions? Is this built around a fixed scoring based on kill objectives, I'm just thinking if you get cleanse, containment, establish locus etc what 1-2 units are not shooting /charging with that turn that are also outside your deployment or could get there quickly?
I do agree with the assessment that you have no screening units for any melee pressing force. While the Lychguard will slow down some things, most melee specialist units will just kill it in one turn and move on into your lines. With Custodes, Orks, Incubi, Blood angels, Templar, World eaters as just some of the heavy melee hitters that are not uncommon.
I would suggest play testing on a WTC or GW tournament board layout, I think you have a lot of deadly shooting units fighting for the same slight lines.
Given the detachment bonus I think 2x3 tomb blades and 1x6 might be pretty good, if you shave off some points, the units of 3 zoom around and do actions/objects / screen and dying and chip damage on the enemy scoring units when they have a chance with the assault and S6 shooting.
Lastly you have 150 pts of characters buffing 150 point of immortals, would 2x 10 immortals not just be strictly better at shooting, being in 2 places at once and not overkilling single units, I'll admit I don't know what the math is on the buffs for 20 shots vs just 40 shots.

The Immortals are more for ablative wounds than actually doing damage.
The Overlord's enhancement gives him the six inch aura of reroll ones to hit and wound. And the Cryptek's lets him give a mounted/vehicle unit -1 to all incoming damage.
I could put the Plasmancer's enhancement on any character (Hexmark with Lone Op) but the Overlord's has to go on an Overlord or Command Barge.
As for actions, the barge, Lychguard (melee only unit) and the Immortals can potentially handle that. Meanwhile the Arks would be sitting on a couple of objectives and they likely are big enough to still get close to the Overlord for the aura.
As I said previously this is very much a work in progress (will need to order some destroyers to kitbash one into a second L.Lord at the very least).
Also in regards to sightlines, the destroyers have 24 inch range while the Arks and HDs have much longer (for the weapon that matters) between that and the assault keyword on the entire lot I should be able to move them around each other.

-Orders 3 more LDs to go from 15 to the proper 3 sets of six since Chris is willing to trade a second L.Lord- -Crunches numbers-
Huh, never knew that you could only take 3 enhancements in an army. Probably because I'd never used detachments that had more than one or two good enhancements.
Biggest problem will be fitting those three groups of six destroyers plus Lord onto the board. Well that and there are now 15 points left unused in the list since there is nothing I can spend it on.

So after the stress test of the tournament I've gotten a better idea of what works and what doesn't for this abomination.
The Dread Majesty (reroll 1s aura) didn't manage to help the things I wanted to very often and I honestly forgot about it from time to time as a result. Similarly the -1 damage augment on the Plasmancer left it out of position far too often. Finally the overlord on the Immortals didn't really contribute anything.
So dropping the overlord+DM and shifting the other augment to a destroyer unit (should be more helpful there) frees up enough points that I can add 2 five man units of Deathmarks (deep striking snipers) for better board control/objective grabbing/more action monkeys.

From playing against your list at 1500 on Saturday, I think it will indeed benefit from some small utility units such as the Deathmarks.

So after my match with Jordan and advice (thanks for that), I feel that I've got to rethink how I build lists if I ever want to be properly competitive in tournaments.
So for Starshatter the core/main damage dealers of the list are this:
3x Doomsday Arks 3x units of six Lokhust destroyers w/ Lokhust Lord Total cost with mounted/vehicle in 6' fall back and shoot and mounted/vehicle in 6' gets -1 to all damage taken enhancements: 1385
After that it was suggested that I go more with multiple small cheap units to act as screens/action monkeys/minor damage dealing instead of fewers big bricks of Immortals+character and 10 lychguard+Overlord etc. I'm primarily going with models I have or can comparatively easily/quickly build+paint.
three units of 5x Tesla Immortals three units of 5x Flayed Ones (anti-infantry with infiltrate and stealth) two units of 5x Deathmarks (deep striking snipers that once per turn can shoot reinforcements within 18') Cost:520 Total cost: 1905
At this point my options are to buy another unit or enlarge an existing one along with potentially a third enhancement (ignore cover on the third Lokhust Lord) Cost: 15
My thought is to toss a Hexmark destroyer into the mix as he's lone-op/deep striker, gives me a free 18' overwatch that hits on 2s and if the enemy shoots at nearby units he can shoot back (assuming they're in range). The issue is that there is only a six inch region that he can shoot before enemies can target him. As a result it's not that hard to kill/target him if the enemy has high speed units or assault weapons.
Cost: 75 Total cost: 1995

Hexmarks are one of the best cheap action monkeys you can get... Deep strike lone op is powerful for getting points. Good addition.
