So one of the bigger problems I see that WoC have is the lack of shooting... well here's an idea to try to change that as well as try something interesting. (let's me test a unit before my wife buys the Chaos Dwarves from Forge world)
Currently the Forge world Chaos Dwarf units are available as special choices in a WoC army, so here's something to test out for it :
Lord LvL 4 Sorcerer Lord (Shadow), Infernal Puppet, enchanted shield, Dawnstone, Third eye of Tzeentch
Heroes Lvl 2 Sorcerer (Slaneesh), Dispel Scroll Exalted Hero BSB of Tzeentch, Halberd, Shield, Crown of Command
Core 40 Marauders of Khorne, Great Weapons, Mus, Banner 17 Warriors of Tzeentch, Halberds, Shields, Mus, Banner (Blasted Standard)
Special 30 Infernal Guard, Fireglaives, Mus, Banner 30 Infernal Guard, Fireglaives, Mus, Banner (Banner of Eternal Flame)
Rare Warshrine
2398 points
So the idea behind this is balancing out the combat potential of Warriors with some decent shooting (and combat) potential of Chaos Dwarves. The Fireglaive fires at 18'' range, STR 4 armor piercing and counts as a Halberd in CC. The Warshrine is there for shennanigans to try to get a 3+ ward on the warrior unit, and Festus is there to buff the Marauder unit.
What do you think?
Edit : Whoops, posted it in the wrong section originally Edit 2 : Swapped Festus for the BSB

Yeah Shannon, it looks like fun- Sadly I don't have those awesome looking minis in my, I mean my wife's hands yet... Testing out the stats if anything atm. No BSB because I couldn't afford it, though I could drop Festus for the BSB and have actually been considering that. Two sorcerers because I want Shadow for the debuffs and just general annoyance the lore can bring and Slaneesh for the awesome effects it also brings to the tabletop (also haven't tried the Lore of Slaneesh yet personally, but it seems to lend itself well to an army anchored around some decent shooting). Aaaaaand, the stats for the Chaos Dwarves are in PDF download format atm from the forgeworld website.
