Hey, I was wondering if I should use 1 or ten man squads. Also what weapons should I give them?

Well, it all depends really on what the rest of your list looks like.
The more the merrier always works, but if you're only running two five man squads in a 1500 point army that's not good.

Math-hammering it out, these are the more effective squad sizes I've found in the codex for troop choices :
Plague marines : 5 man with 2 plasma guns in a rhino Khorne Berserkers : 8 man with Skull champ w/ PF in a rhino Noise marines : 5 man with Blastmaster Thousand Sons : 6 man with wind of chaos in a rhino CSM : 8 man with melta and champ w/ PF, Icon of Chaos Glory in a rhino or 10 man with 2 melta and champ w/ PF, Icon of chaos glory in a rhino
As far as CSM are concerned, the 8 man vs 10 man is what your points are looking like- if you need to skim some points, losing 2 marines and a melta for 40 points isn't all that bad to deal with. The Plague marines are used as a cheap reliable plasma squad that can help take some punishment for the less durable squads. 8 is the magic number for assault marine units / Khorne berserkers as far as points vs number of attacks go. The Noise marine squad with the blastmaster is a nice STR 8 AP 3 blast template that can sit on a home field objective and drop templates all game and the Thousand Son squad sized usually works well as an escort for a Tzeentch Sorcerer Lord with Warp time and Winds of chaos. I'd likely not run TK any other way, and if not running the Sorc Lord- I'd leave them out entirely.
