Not that I don't enjoy the Trenton tourneys, I've had a lot of fun on any that I've gone to, I just tend to forget that that stuff is allowed most of the time, or else just simply don't know what's in the books to prepare for it.
I think a lot of those units are great in one off games, so long as it's known what they do, but I don't like non-codex "surprises" in competitive play.

It just goes to show that even well crafted plans rarely survive contact with the enemy ;D

Hello!
Please add Tim Harvey (Orks) and Adam Deschambault (Chaos Space Marines) to the list.

So long as it looks reasonable and is finished. I don't want like a pop can, or something clearly hacked together out of cardboard.

The scenarios for this event will be posted here, and sent to the Nexus board to be e-mailed out shortly. Given that I intend to play in it, I thought it only fair that everyone has the same chance to see the scenarios before finalizing lists. I also intend to make my list public, as I've seen everyone elses.

I have a question regarding teams that pair Eldar with Dark Eldar... the Eldar codex has useful psychic abilities that are only supposed to work with Eldar but if Dark Eldar are indeed Eldar, then do these Eldar abilities work with their dark kin?
I ask specifically because that Dark Eldar 2+ invul save thing plus fortune would be terrifying.

I know it may not always follow wordings 100% (IE two Eldar players teamed together) but my ruling on powers/abilities crossing the board is that your own abilities affect your own models only unless it specifically states "all models within xyz" in which case it affects you, friends and foes.

Ok cool... but what about joining allied units with your own ICs?

Nope. Each army operates completely independently, despite being on one force org. It just saves a TON of headaches from odd rule combinations. I don't want the Tag Teams being about finding broken ways to combine special rules, which happened in the one event (many years ago) where such a thing was allowed to happen. All the armies were based on silly tricks rather than a couple solid lists with good synergy.
