okay, looks like singles are it... we just need to decide between 1850 and 1500... poll is going to stay up for a bit still to give everyone who wants a say a chance to put their vote and/or two cents in!

I changed my vote to 1500 for the six games as I believe with the same time given a wide variety of armies and players should get games completed rather than having them end a few turns early and not reach any real conclusion.
Go Hordes!

1850 is still the optimal number for tournament formats for flexibility in points vs. force org, so my vote is going unchanged. The only way a game would have to be cut early is if somebody is taking over 10 minutes to play a turn - and that's only before turn 3-4 which it becomes all crunch anyway.
If people want to play 1500 for the sole reason of making sure that all their games end before the 2 hour time limit, then I suggest people either streamline their lists or move those hordes around the table faster.

My vote is also actually for 1850... I play a couple horde armies myself and agree with Justin that you just have to get to a pretty quick rhythm with them and then you can easily get a game done on time.... I've never been in a tourney game with my nids or orks and not been able to finish on time.... sure you have to make quicker decisions, especially in the movement phase... but ten minutes a turn each is pretty reasonable!

Agreed that 1850 is the better point value for FOC flexibility. Lame that means I have to paint more, but lol oh well.

I think random parteners would be more fun just for the trying to figure out a tactic with a random unknown team.

looks like it's going to be singles for sure... that's the vast majority of what people want....
point level has been fluctuating back and forth between 1500 and 1850 as per what people want

Everyone knows 1850 is best for tournaments, don't lie to yourselves.
