I'm actually going to elicit public opinion on this topic, for the sake of transparency and encouraging the debate.
Please do not just vote in the poll, but also put the pros and cons of your choice.
I have my own opinions and would be extremely reluctant to allow this... but it's been asked so I'll throw it out there....

Few participants would be familiar with the models and their associated rules. I think including FW models would grant an unfair advantage to the player that included them.

I don't have any problem with anything stamped as official and/or posted as open errata on their site.

I voted no because forgeworld stuff is usually either greatly over or under priced (points wise), for example, if forgeworld stuff was allowed I would be able to field squadrons of hornets armed with pulse lasers. each 3 vehicle squadron would cost 240 points, and generate 24x Str 8 Ap 2 BS4 shots per turn. And they are allowed to outflank. And did I mention their AV11 and not open topped? Could you imagine a unit of those coming in on each flank and still having to deal with 6-7 other heavy eldar vehicles? That's just unfair.

I'm also under the opinion that if it's stamped it should be a go ahead- each codex gets something that they get to use, and everyone is always going to consider certain things "broken". Armor value 11 shooting squadrons are anything but, as 3 immobile results means a dead squadron.
Forge world is working for official stuff, just like they are for Warhammer fantasy, so it's all things that seem to be official entirely. I'm going to be ordering the book as a store copy in either case so people can't use the excuse "I don't know."
It says it in the stamp though, that in friendly games you should make sure your friends are happy using them- but that they are official.
Edit : And no, I'm not just voting this because I want to use some of the models. I'm voting this because if things are going to wind up like this from a forgeworld standpoint in 6th edition, may as well get used to it now.

well personally i don't know much about IA or forge world stuff, i know i asked about it when i started and people said they it wasn't widely liked or used in the area. But i agree if it has been tested and has a play tested stamp and the majority of people want to use it then it, and really can it be much worst then purifier spam? lol

I voted no due to the fact that a lot of people don't have access to forgeworld stuff, but also since there are a lot of things in the IA books that are cheap pointswise, but also extremely powerful for what they do. I have 6 of the books myself + the Apoc book and there are some things in there that just go beyond the standard codex stuff you'd expect.
I do enjoy FW models (and have a few myself) and wouldn't have a problem allowing them in friendly games, but I've heard of a few stories of tournaments where FW rules made what would have been tough, fun games into a completely 1-sided nightmares for the players not running the FW stuff.

You've seen enough of my posts regarding this on the Trenton boards to know where I stand on it, LoL.
And to add to the Hornets conversation, 3 regular walkers armed the same way cost 180, 190 with stones (can't remember if the hornets come with them) and can't jump, are AV 10 and BS3.

I think forge world is fun but not everything because some things are just overpowered.

I voted no for the reasons Jon J Frosty and Redshirt stated. Perhaps its something that could be visited again for future tourneys.
