An interesting question. However, if one acknowledges that average lifespans have continued to increase to ages unmatched throughout human history, then kids are actually growing up slower than ever before.

An interesting question. However, if one acknowledges that average lifespans have continued to increase to ages unmatched throughout human history, then kids are actually growing up slower than ever before. as jon j said in history we have grown slower look at julius caesar when he was 16 he was head of his family and was a governor of spain. even for the common people up to the early 1900s a 13 year old could have a family, full time job, and house so even in the way kids act toay they are still slower then they onces were.
