well, here it is... of particular note:
Q: Can a Bruiser Battle Standard Bearer who carries a magic standard also choose a single Big Name worth up to 50 points? (p88) A: Yes.
Q: If a Wizard is hit by a ranged attack from the bearer of the Greedy Fist, does it lose a Wizard Level? (p62) A: Yes.
Q: As Butchers and Slaughtermasters can take an ironfist, does this mean that they can also wear magical armour? (p32) A: Yes.
(along with a little note from Jervis saying this wasn't the original intent and will likely be changed in the next book, and discourages people from doing it but it's totally legal... okay Jervis, whatever)
Page 87 – Slaughtermaster, Options: Add: “- Great Weapon..............10 points”
Q: If a unit rolls 10+ for its pursuit move, does this increase the number of impact hits causeed by the Ogre Charge special rule from 1 to D3? (p32) A: Yes.

Yes, that is pretty funny to have Ogres as the new cheese. Makes me wonder what they are going to do with woodelves - likely ignore them for another 3-4 years ;D

What I find really strange is the whole bit about Jervis saying that in the NEXT ogre book (like in what ten years?) they'll likely not allow the whole slaughtermaster + magic armor combo... if they didn't want it to happen why not just errata it out... they were putting up an erratta / FAQ anyways! I'm not really sure what the whole guilt trip in the FAQ was supposed to do.. make people feel guilty about it???
If its' legal, it's legal... that should be it.... so if I put glittering scales on my level four slaughtermaster to try and keep him alive better once he hits combat I should feel bad about that?
maybe it's just me taking it wrong, but I found the little comment thing both unneccesary and a little off-putting...

also give him the magic weapon that gives you WS10 so he is harder to hit.... slaughtermaster + armor = death of the tyrent

Well the death of the tyrant came long before that... with the new book not needing a tyrant to field a slaughtermaster, and a level four being pretty much mandatory for magic defense, a tyrant was rarely seen.
I was already using fencer's blades on my slaughtermaster, so the glittering scales are a natural fit... add the dispel scroll and you pretty much have my standard slaughtermaster setup, as now I don't have to worry about a ward save (the extra -1 to hit is sufficient protection)...
a firebelly with hellheart plus a BSB and that's pretty much my character setup for 100% of the games I play....
anything else I ever take is for fun lists only.... which is too bad because I own the hunter/stonehord, the tyrant model, and skragg the slaughterer... just can't see any of them ever getting any play beyond the occasional casual game....
