So, Flames of war 3rd ed is coming out in Feb. It will still keep all army lists current. its just a clean up of some rules. Anyone interested in playing let me know. The new rulebook will be free if u have the 2nd edition hardcover book. I would love to get back into this game. I will even run demos and I can play at my house too. I love this game. anyone interested let me know. Mike

The introduction of early war got me somewhat interested in this again, but it's hard to get models anymore, and most people around here sold off armies a while ago.

The more than active (weekly games) group in Trenton might be able to help you out, Matt, to get any models if you wanted to get back into things.

I'm pretty sure my old Finn army is still kicking around up there somewhere.

I will stick with my mid war, not interested in late war or early war. I do look forward to what they clean up in third ed though.

I see that there are a few peole aroind who play. Jamesedward- Do you live in Kingston and if so what mid war army do you play. I can play Germans mid war. Anyone else here in Kingston want to get back into or start FoW let me know. I know guys in trenton play but its a little far for me to drive. Let me know if you want to play. I have two armies and, like I said before I can run demos. Does anyone know if mike at nexus can order FoW stuff? Mike

Nexus was carrying FOW before, and in the past there was a group of players, but the game kind of died out here... Trenton I know has a very solid active group going... here, I haven't seen anyone play the game in a while for sure....

Ok In Feb after the 3rd ed has been released I will run a demo of 1500 points. It will be Germans vs USA. I will include everything so people can see how everything works in the game. I will also provide all the Flameso War terrain. I just wondering how many people will shoe up for a demo on a Saturday? I will do this to hopefully raise the interest again and start up a league. I would really like to know how many people would show up. Post here and type YES if you would show up.

Yes, I'd check out a demo, see how the 3rd ed shapes up.
Mike CAN order it, but there's a big cap on how much he has to order to be able to make it worth his while to get it...something like $300 at once.

Afraid I am in belleville. I have german, british and russians, can field them all either mid or late war, though mis war is always best.
