As it is probably going to be my next army I would like some ideas for a list besides 10 to 15 missile launcher wielding long fangs ;D

Start with 10-15 long fangs.... oh wait... sorry...
Well if you're starting the army, I think the ferensian wolf models are pretty cool and dynamic.. and the new thunderwolves are also pretty cool... if you can get around the idea of marines riding wolves...
I would recommend thunderwolf cavalry with storm shields... worth every penny for the upgrade...
You can never go wrong with wolf guard as well... if you really like the "wing" style armies, Logan wing is one of the best....
scouts are a cool option as well, and they definitely have a few advantages over regular SM scouts...
bloodclaws I'd stay away from (and their jump pack friends)... just seems like a poor choice...
And stay away from the Jaws power... it's really good and all, but most of the time when it works, you'll kind of feel like a jerk for using it... such a cheap power vs. nids, orks, & crons....
my two cents anyways...

Found a 1850 list on the interwebs and I will probably try it out:
Logan Grimnar 5 Wolf guard, 2 terminators w/ th ss 2 terminators w/ chain fist ss 1 terminator w/ chain fist, storm shield, cyclone
(x5) 5 wolf guard terminators: 1 w/ storm bolter power weapon 1 w/ storm bolter chain fist 1 w/ storm bolter, power fist and cyclone 2 w/ storm bolter and power fist
The basis is that they all form a wall around grimnar and the assault squad and if any thing charges them, which they probably won't, they have counter attack. When they assault grimnar uses living legend to give them all +1 attack and they just destroy every thing in assault.

Yeah, that's pretty much standard logan wing. It's big weakness is anything fast enough to keep moving 12 (Hehe), and (obviously) AP 2/1 template weapons since only your assault squad had good invuls. It's pretty tough, But I think if you play with the codex a bit and avoid the pitfall of long fang and thunderwolf spam, you can actually make a pretty balanced and powerful list. You should probably have a look as Wesley's list from the tourny and talk to him for a bit. I know he did use both thunderwolves and long fangs, but you'll be able to get a pretty good idea of how to construct a core to build around. Also, here's another example of a NOVA comp logan wing list, yeah it's a little spammy, but it's a tournament list. bnhblog.blogspot.com/2010/10/prepare-for-salvation.htmlI'm also sad that SW can't field Leman Russ Battle Tanks anymore. They used to have such a nice blend of heavy armour/weapons and CC ability back in 2nd/3rd ed. Having access to the Leman Russ Exterminator was such a huge deal for them. Multiple AV14 Front Vehicles? Yes Please.
