I will be there, though unfortunately I will not be in Kingston until the week before (to drive from Quebec is a ways just to sign up)
Jake Porter - Dark Angels
I am presently planned on teaming up with BewareofTom (sorry mate, I don't know your real name)

I should be there and I will be bring my Dark Eldar. In fact, I'm even trying to see if I can get all the models I need painted in my new chosen colour scheme before then.

Are there any painting restrictions for this tournament? If not, then I will certainly be there

no painting restrictions... well other than if you want to win best painted... then you should probably paint your stuff...
but to play in the tourney, not a drop of paint is actually required on your models....

Oh, and if any ork or marine players want, I have the newest WD with the flyer rules in it so they could borrow it (since IIRC print offs are not allowed)

Another quick question: this is the first time we've ever really done anything tournament wise for doubles, so can someone explain to me how this works in 40k? Or point me to the page # in the rule book? How individual is each army? How closely are they allowed to interact?
For example: can an HQ from my army join a squad in my partners army? Can a unit I have enter a transport he controls? Does my KFF work on his units as well as mine?
So I guess I'm just wondering if there is a good rule of thumb I can judge these with. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the help! no to all three questions for a rule of thumb basicly your ally operates just like your enemy except u cant shoot or charge them and they help out with mission objectives.

Well after a few discussions, the easiest way to run it is your powers and abilities don't affect your partner... that way you won't have fortuned terminators... trust me... that's a good thing...
