Pg. 43 - "a model can never have a save of any kind better than 1+ for any reason"
- so no more -1 or 0+ AS on characters or units, no matter what, not with spells, items, warshrines, etc.
Pg. 44 - "insta-kills" = no saves of ANY kind...
pg 53. If you charge from a hill you get an additional +1 to combat resolution... not defending high ground anymore... specifically running downhill at the enemy.... ummm okay....
And as has been pointed out on the other thread... nothing that states more than one dispel scroll can be taken in an armylist. In fact, specifically says under magic items pg. 500 that unless the item says otherwise, it is unique.
If you completely wipe out a unit in close combat you automatically restrain pursuit and reform! (you can choose to overrun if you charged)
You can reform with a leadership check after losing combat (pg. 55), or automatically if you win combat
If you have flaming attacks, you re-roll to wound when both shooting and assaulting a building!!!! (pg. 69) and if you have a flaming shooting attack (ie: hydra breath, salamanders) you count as having flaming close combat attacks too! (and cause fear in war beasts, cavalry and chariots)

Pg. 74 - cannot take a regeneration and a ward save... it's one or the other...
Pg. 74 - you cannot make a charge reaction against enemies with random movement (doom wheels / aboms) and you can only pivot before the move - no other pivots are allowed!
pg. 75 - sea creature rules.... ummmm.... really???

really? so my temple guard can use a halbert and shield? I would still reather the hand weapon and shield. That was a stupid rule they should have made it they you have to say what they are using at the begining of the game or if you buy a weapon thats what you got. Not that if they come with more then one weapon that automatically get some stupid one lol

So Hydra Close Combat attacks are Flaming. And therefore my Dragon Armoured guys are immune to it? This pleases me.
However the KB giving NO saves at all is brutal. I think my Arena of Death character might have to make his way into my army given that rule. Take THAT pendant lord.....

What he meant was that models armed with 2 "Hand" weapons (not 2-handed) it's doesn't explicitly say that it requires 2 hands to use them (though the description does say the model holds a weapon in each hand)
2-handed weapons all still state they require 2 hands to use.
KB still allows ward saves....the "insta-kill" referred to is the ones that require a Stat-test or die (ie: Venomsword toughness test)

The moore I read rulebook the moore I love this edition! Very nice and logical rules! They really did a great job the only thing I found stupid so far is that you don't have the choice to use your ''special weapon'' instead of hand weapon but I can live with it.

there's even more....
Pg. 63 - if a unit breaks from combat it causes a panic test to all within 6" (not just if destroyed)
Pg. 93 Champions are the last removed rank and file unless specifically targetted (no saving the musician or standard for last)
Pg. 94 When a unit breaks in combat, the standard bearer is automatically slain and must be removed!!!!!
....even worse pg. 107 - so is a BSB!!!!!!
Pg. 97 lone characters within 3" of a unit of the same type get look out sir on a 4+
Pg. 97 - you can form a unit of JUST characters!
Pg. 100 - characters can always move into combat, not just on your own turn!
Pg. 101 - characters charging out of units on their own get a 4+ look out sir vs. stand and shoot
Pg. 102 - don't have to be in contact with the enemy to issue or accept challenges
Pg. 105 - ridden monsters give +1 Armor Save to the rider
Pg. 110 - only six models can fight a war machine crew (less if bigger sized)
Pg. 111 - if a bolt thower hits a flank of rank and file an starts killing the front rank - only rank and file models are affected, no command, no characters, no look out sir needed! (if at least 5 models)
Pg. 115 stone thrower multiple wound rule is only for single model under the hole!

pg. 91 "some warriors carry two hand weapons, one in EACH hand"
and "an additional hand weapon cannot be used by a mounted model or by a model that has a magical close combat weapon"
pretty safe to say both hands are required... although shield could still be used against range fire or magic (pg. 75)

right but if i was a RAW kinda guy i could say that nothing prevents you from using them with a shied on foot exept for fluff, which alot of dosnt translate to the game system, oviously around here we would use common sense, but it says nowhere that it requres too hands, it only hints about it in the "fluff" description.
