Here's what my mechdar list is looking like atm after a few tweaks and changes this week.
HQ
Eldrad
Farseer - Fortune
6x Warlocks - Enhance, Embolden, 4x Destructor
Wave Serpent - TL Shuriken Cannon, Underbelly Shuriken Cannon
Elite
None
Troops
10x Dire Avengers - Exarch, DSC, Bladestorm
Wave Serpent - TL Shuriken Cannon, Underbelly Shuriken Cannon
10x Dire Avengers - Exarch, DSC, Bladestorm
Wave Serpent - TL Shuriken Cannon, Underbelly Shuriken Cannon
10x Dire Avengers - Exarch, DSC, Bladestorm
Wave Serpent - TL Shuriken Cannon, Underbelly Shuriken Cannon
Fast
2x Vypers - Bright Lance, Underbelly Shuriken Cannon
2x Vypers - Bright Lance, Underbelly Shuriken Cannon
Heavy
Fire Prism - Underbelly Shuriken Cannon
Fire Prism - Underbelly Shuriken Cannon
Total: 1991
Spirit stones seem no longer needed because most of the time serpents seem to die to attrition damage, they also get suppressed far less. I tried this last Monday and did not miss my stones.
Being able to move 12 and fire 2 weapons is awesome, gunboats are definitely back in a big way. The downside is having to move 6 to disembark troops, and disembarking troops can't assault period. Just means playing Eldar more aggressively than in 5th. (Zone clearance and chess-like calculated moves are back =P)
Vypers are also back in a big way, I found I needed some extra punch and with more than enough Str 6 on the table I decided to try some old Lance Vypers. I think 4 str 8 lance shots should help my prisms out against AV13+, and gives me a more reliable way to deal with Armour at range. (Notice the lack of fire dragons? Eldar hate disembarking within 12" of you now)
The extra farseer is to provide fortune for the council (it's made of glass without it) and Eldrad will be swapping out for rulebook powers nearly every game, especially since my 2 schools have such awesome primaris powers, let alone things like Misfortune.
Thoughts?
EDIT: Total points was wrong
