Well, gotta start thinking of how to retool my daemons for 6th... without having to buy a crapton of models... right away the plaguebearers have to get into bigger units... 10 might be able to hold an objective like the 5 used to... mainly given their T5 and they'll always at least get their FNP so I need more core... that's for sure... I'm also stubbornly sticking with the grinders for at least a bit... dropping $225 on three models kind of makes you want to play the damn things (guess it serves me right for not getting daemon princes for 1/3 of the price from the get go eh?) Basically the heralds and princes provide some initial transport popping while the screamers suicide run a landraider or other heavy armor (hitting on 3's worst case scenario is pretty awesome)
18 fiends kill infantry dead. The troops are there to camp on objectives only... I'm not a fan of any of the daemonic troop choices to be honest...
mainly it's about four big threats vector striking all over the board... two of them blasting bolts in addition, while the other two have a 2++ vs. the psychic effects that are able to bring down flying MC's without needing 6's to hit. the Khorne GD and prince are able to wreck opponent's flyers, and can divebomb whatever squad they choose to be in combat with...
flying MC rules makes it easy to chooose your target.
I'd have skarbrand instead but fleet pretty much sucks now... so not worth it given he trades flight for it... but skarbrand + 18 fiends is pretty evil....

I dunno, seems like you want at least 3 troops choices to try to win objective games a lot of the time... D3 + 2 Objectives on 3 of the game types and 6 objectives on another makes for some crazy stuff... I've been feeling like I need even more scoring- but here's to seeing how it works out!

Well Sreamers were awesome before and they are now better! Good thing I have 12 of them haha Shannon I like your second list but like Tom said 2 troops look like a little short...

plaguebearers could be split into three groups of seven (think nurgle likes that number anyways) can drop an upgrade to buy the extra bearer...
thinking that this army is going to have to wait a bit before I drop too much cash into it though... going to try list one to see what it can do first....

In answer to #1, A stationary vehicle is auto-hit, a vehicle that has moved is considered to be WS1, and since most units have a WS of at least 2, everything will hit vehicles on a 3+ if it moved In answer to #2, no Fliers can't charge Fliers, but Flying MCs have the Vector Strike USR which allows them to inflict hits against anything they fly over.

Yeah, With 6th and how bloody the games can be, you really need to be bringing 4-5 troops now imo, and they need to be larger units so that they don't die to a stiff breeze.

well if money isent an issue u could go with the second force org and have say 6 sqauds of fiends or 6 daemon princes

lol... double force org is a myth.... just skip that part of the book... no tourney will let you use it... and trying it in friendly games will likely not allow you any chance of getting a game in...
