please type your list out in a response in this thread, rather than an attachment... format is very difficult to read/figure out

My first one was god-awful...... with only ONE synapse. *3rd ed this also minimized the stuff I have to buy, I already have 11 termas and 4 genes and 1 hormagaunt. to buy: -2 sets of 12 hormagaunts -1 set of 8 genestealers -2 hive guards -1 warrior brood of 3 -1 warrior

I think dropping a few things for a tervigon would help alot, especially for more synapse

Tervigon would take out my points, but yeah, one prime's definitely too little

You know Harry Im playing nids too and there is always a way to make a good list even if you dont want a tervigon. Most of the time when I build a list what I do is building a theme list. Its also important that you like the models because you will have to paint them.
In this list first your prime needs regen Bonesword is a good choice for sure!
Termagunt can be very good in the new edition espacially if you move them in front out of synapse they get rage
You dont need adrenal glands on your Gene
Try to get more warrior at least 1 more warrior and all with bone sword and put your prime in there to take S8 shoots
Your Trygon doesnt need any of the upgrades...
If you dont want tervigon change your termagunt for something else...

the prime is good... he will be able to handle most things....
your elite slots are the absolute best things in the codex... I would take at least two hive guard.... S8 shots are going to threaten transports... otherwise you can only hurt them with your Trygon... he can't be everywhere at once, and he has to handle anything big (landraider, terminators, etc)
I would put toxin sacs on your homagaunts... sure you won't be able to get as many, but they will be VERY dangerous to space marines! (makes them wound on 4's instead of 5's... on the charge because of adrenal glands, they can reroll their to wound rolls due to the poison rule)
drop adrenal glands on the warriors... it doesn't really help... shooty warriors are still good, as their basic gun is three shots... you can go lash whip/bonesword as Dany suggested, however this makes them a HUGE target.... and with only three of them, I don't think they'll last long... shooty warriors are less of a target priority, and are still dangerous with the prime with them
I'd drop scything talons from the genestealers, and put them into two groups of 6-8 rather than one big mob of 12... that way it's two things your opponent has to worry about instead of just one!
Regeneration is generally not worth it on the Trygon (it rarely works) and very expensive... I generally run mine with just adrenal glands... with the recent changes in 6th edition toxin sacs aren't entirely terrible, but not really needed... you're wounding most things on 2's already...
You'll save enough points dropping some upgrades and a few little bugs to gain you a couple of hive guard... which are essential to making a list like you're doing work....
I think you're on the right track though for a good 1,000 point list....
