As Mike left it up to me to have missions for the upcoming gamequest, I've been putting some thoughts into this. As 6th is still quite new, the idea of developing three distinct missions separate from those in the main book strikes me as somewhat premature...
and I've learned my lesson about free for all and popularity vote.
My thoughts would be to take three of the missions from the core rulebook, and have each of the three deployments... however which three missions to pick?
So here is the chance for you to say what YOU would like... your favourite of the main missions (you may be all ga ga about relic for example) and WHY.... also if there is a mission you don't like (I for example disliked auto-tie in 5th, and 6th like it no better) please add that in as well... I'm not saying the most / least popular will be picked, but I'm certainly open to people making a case for one or the other...

Well to be fair I think we should have the 3 big different missions. Normal Objective, Kill point and Relic.... Its 3 very different missions and test your army in 3 different aspect.
Also is the tournament still on base or at the store?

I won't be able to attend gamesquest anyways, so here's my spiel
Use all 6 missions from the rulebook. Rolling 2 together into one missions for 3 games. Obviously keep the rulebook secondaries (First Blood, Slay Warlord and Linebreaker) as +1 VP
For Example,
Mission 1: The Relic Primary, Purge the Alien Secondary
One movable objective in the center worth 100 VP, each unit fully destroyed counts for 1 VP. If no one controls the relic, KP determines the winner!
This can encourage some different play styles, for example Nids might want to spam Gaunts an give up KP to try to hold the relic!
Mission 2: Crusade Primary, Big Guns Never Tire Secondary
5 Objectives, one in center of each table quarter worth 2VP, one in center worth 3VP, Heavies score and give up 1 VP if destroyed.
This one encourges objective play because they are worth so much more than the normal mission secondaries, holding objectives will determine the winner.
Mission 3: The Souring Primary, Emperor's Will Secondary
6 Objectives, each in center of 2x2 table section, Each Player gets to pick one of the objectives in their table half as their "Home objective". Fast Attack scores, and give up 1 VP is destroyed and each objective is worth 1 VP, and your Home Objective is worth 2VP.
This one encourages different play as well, for example since your fast attack scores, you might want to use it to cross the table and deny your opponent their home objective, but if they die you risk giving up extra VP to your opponent!
Then just assign each scenario a Deployment!

I like your idea Ray but I would like to have the randomness of objectives (D3+2) because 5 and 6 Objective force people to bring like 4 scoring and its nice sometimes to have list with no spam

My thoughts were just a suggestion, but you do make a good point Dany, My opinion that every 6th ed list should be bringing 4+ scoring units anyways is just that, an opinion.
As a note, in both the missions with high numbers of objectives, fast and heavy units score, so that would bring most people up to 5-6 scoring units. Some lists might even have 8-9.
