Ill be there tomarrow what time would be good to show up? The list looks like it will be interesting and tough to deal with, some back field and fast units to worry about. Im really liking the chaos dex like you can have a lot of options to make different feeling lists

I think my buddy Dan will be there tomorrow too, around 1400. I'd like to go, but I have the Tau on my painting table and I'm not taking them off until they're done. So I wouldn't have any army.

So after three games, here's my take on the things I tested out.
The Helbrute is subpar and definitely getting the boot. Sadly he just doesn't cut it and those 110 points could go somewhere else. The Raptors were charged by Honor guard + character support twice and got butchered both times, so not quite the most adequate testing on their end. The other game they got focused down by an entire Tau army shooting phase and a half...
The Forgefiend was okay, though he is easily wiped out with the alpha strike... not quite sure if I'm keeping him but I'll try out other things for now and keep him on the back burner.
Noise marines were FANTASTIC. With the Sorcerer debuffing enemy units (Got Enfeeble from Biomancy twice...) Enfeeble coupled with Symphony of Pain means my sonic blasters were wounding marines on 2+ And having him generally with either Sensory overload or Ecstatic Seizures for his third power gave him some extra little punch... Lemme tell you about hitting people with a concussive shooting attack that also blinds them. Mwaha.
Cultists worked great and won me the game vs the Tau single handedly. I charged them into marines in the second game to have some fun with it and they died brutally, and in the third game they also came in from reserve and jumped on objectives. So overall they work quite well... Gonna go down to one unit for now though on them.
The Dragons were fantastic... Having a flyer able to regenerate hullpoints and vector strike things was lots of fun, though I'm going to be swapping them over to the baleflamers for now to help them vs marines in cover (which was their primary issue.). So with all of this in mind, here's my modified list.
1999 points
HQ 320
Chaos Lord Sigil of Corruption Gift of mutation The Black Mace Jump pack Mark of Slaanesh Veteran of the Long War
Sorcerer Force Sword Mastery 3 Spell Familiar Mark of Slaanesh
Troops 735
10 Cultists
10 Chaos Space marines 9 Bolters to CCW 2 Flamers Rhino
10 Noise Marines 10 CCW 10 Sonic Blasters Icon of Excess
10 Noise Marines 10 CCW 10 Sonic Blasters Icon of Excess
Fast Attack 525
HelDrake Baleflamer
Heldrake Baleflamer
5 Raptors 2 Meltaguns Dual Lightning Claws (On Champ) Mark of Slaanesh Icon of Excess
Heavy Support 419
5 Havocs 4 Autocannons
2 Obliterators Mark of Nurgle
2 Obliterators Mark of Nurgle
Adding in the auto cannons will help mitigate the loss of the Forgefiends firepower. They're more durable to alpha strikes and more accurate, though they lose a strength in the process... oh well. The Raptors and Oblits can handle Land raider equivalent and the Noise Marines will absolutely shred anything daring to come outside. A possible 60 shots at 24'' against a debuffed enemy unit so I wound on 2+ ignoring cover? Yum. The Raptors were lowered in size to make them hopefully less of an immediate threat, they're likely just going to drop off the Lord and die anyways.
So there it is. Loving the book thus far.
