Well, now I have two Vendetta's and the doors are all glued shut and building a Valkyries now.. I kind of want to paint the interior, but I don't know, it seems like a lot of extra work for something that wont be seen. I'm quite torn on this.
What are your thoughts on painting the interior of vehicles?

I build the whole model and paint what I see just because if no-one sees it its not worth painting, I might base the inside of rhinos because they do open.

If I was building a diorama or display, yes I would. But for tabletop models I'll actually use, it's more convenient just to glue em shut and not bother.

When I've seen pictures of vehicles that open up and the interiors are all painted, it does look very cool... that being said, I really haven't done that myself (not that I paint alot of closed vehicles mind you other than all those rhinos and immolators)... I like the doors glued shut for gaming purposes (so it isn't always falling open) so just never bothered... agree with Ray though.. if it's a display it looks pretty cool....

Hmm, the downside is that the side doors on the Valkyrie are slide doors and can't fall open or anything so it doesn't really an issue for the Tabletop.
I think I'll keep them shut though, and just glue a piece of reflective black plastic or something on the inside of the door screen so that it looks like a visor.
Edit: You can't see crap through the doors when they're open, almost impossible with the wing and landing struts. Also, can't see through the tiny hole in the doors anyway so no need to cover 'em up!
