Okay, so now I've redone my list and edited my first post to reflect the new list. I believe it's got the staying power for first turn so that by the time turn 2 comes, I'm almost guaranteed to have all my Flyers come in.
The Tauros squad will sit behind the Aegis and take a lovely little 3+ cover from it with their Camo Netting. Even though they're 11-10-10 with 2 HP that's still a decent save they'll have. The LRGS and the CCS will do their best to hide behind LOS terrain the whole game as they're there for more buffs and support than combat.
I could also start my Storm Troopers on the table with infiltrate from Behind Enemy Lines instead of having them ride a Vendetta on.
Obviously if I'm against a drop pod, or fast moving army that'll get onto me quick I'll start all my infantry on the table and unload hell from a nice little blob in my Aegis, with plenty of rapid fire plasma to deter them from dropping too close, or risk getting thrashed pretty good.
Sticking within 2" of the Comms relay with any unit aslong as it's not in CC (So, vehicles would count by how I read it on page 104) means I'll reroll all of my reserve rolls and despite people not looking too happily at flyers, mine can come in, in hover mode, meaning they're fast skimmers and count as non flyers so I wont be tabled if I lose all the units that started on the table. Not that it'd be likely that I do if I deploy correctly since the majority of my units have the Scout USR.
So, any other thoughts? Interests/querries/concerns?
