Hello just got to Kingston and i really don't know the place. Friend got me an Eldar army for cheap but I'll be looking to grow it a bit. I'm looking for tools and paint sets i could get cheaper then Games workshop. Been told that Vallejo makes good paints but i don't know where to get em in Canada.
Any idea where i could be shopping in Kingston to get those items?

leading edge hobbies, Michael's , walmart and more. You can get cheap and effective paint anywhere but at nexus it has actual miniature paint

Maelstrom Games is an online retailer that sells Coat D'Arms paints, P3, and Vallejo. It's free shipping worldwide with a minimum purchase amount. However, they are currently moving so I would wait until they get set up in new digs--many people are complaining about slow service right now. I've never had a problem with them.
For tools you probably want to look online if you want things like pin vices or sculpting tools.
Otherwise in Kingston Leading Edge Hobbies carries a lot of model paint including Vallejo. It's more geared toward RC cars, trains, etc, but that also means they have great terrain building supplies. They carry milliput, magnets, and some other misc stuff. It's definitely worth the trip.
Nexus carries GW and P3 paint. As well as some non-GW supplies, like army painter spray cans, magnets, etc.
Wallacks is a downtown art store that I get most of my brushes from. They also have plenty of paint of varying quality. Honestly most acrylic paint will work you may just have to thin it yourself. Again, they have plenty of supplies for that. They also carry airbrushes, and some sculpting tools, exacto knives, etc.
If you want greenstuff its either Nexus or online.
