How do you guys attach them? Do you just glue them shut since they're nothing special? I magnetized my Landraider acces points because it's a LAND RAIDER so it should be all bells and whistles, I was thinking of doing the same to the rhino but I think I'd need to get much smaller magnets. What do you guys use? How about stripping paint of plastic minis? I used acetone on the metal ones I needed to strip and it worked great, but I know acetone eats plastic for breakfast What do you guys use?

Simple Green. Comes in jugs at Crappy Tire or other hardware stores, usually in the automotive or cleaning section.
I mix it 50/50 with water just to use less of it, and then I let the minis soak for a couple days in a sealed container. Then I give em a scrub with an old toothbrush and warm water. Paint usually comes off like butter.
Edit: As for doors, I just glue all of mine. But I'm much more of a function over form guy.

Like I said, I'm tempted to glue them because they're "just rhinos" I'll take a look for simple green sometime soon, it's great because crappy tire is so close

+1 for simple green, but I just use it as is (albeit probably 4-5 more times/batches than I should)
and I say, if your going to do the LR's doors might aswell do the rhinos doors aswell, you'll probably kick yourself later if you dont (could always rip out the magnets and GS/seal it later)

I'd glue the rhino doors... unless your planning to paint the inside... if you don't paint the inside seal it up... if you want to show off some cool interior, perhaps shag carpetting or some sweet subwoofers... then leave it openable...
simple green is fantastic... I use it straight because I'm usually in a hurry to get things done... so more concentrated means less soak time... (24 hours is normally sufficient as long as the minature is completely covered)... quick toothbrush scrub and you're done... just wash it well afterwards to get any residual simple green off because you don't want to paint over the stuff!
works like a charm, even with things that are several layers of paint....

Yeah, +1 to SG working like a charm, though I always found DOT3 brake fluid to do better.
I'd just glue the hatches, but as Ray said I'm function over form with vehicles like that. I'd never actually take the time to open and close them during a game.

I agree with Ray as well, unless you plan on entering the thing into a golden demon competition, there's not much need to have it open. The assault ramp opens on my land raider as in the future I was going to maybe sculpt (on the inside) a nurgling on a busted up surf board riding a pus wave, or spooning a grot, I haven't quite decided yet.

I like the surfing nurgling idea, it's cute Yeah I'll just glue my rhinos shut, since after all, they're only rhinos. The landraider I'll still paint the inside up nicely, probably put some script on it too. Good old Anthony Reynolds!
