Should I paint Kharn canon?

For my army I'm painting abaddon as a Warmaster of a Dark Apostle since the children of Logar love daemon weapons and why wouldn't your Warmaster be a wrecking ball on the battlefield?

Also, since Word Bearers have their own berserkers, my Khorne bersekers will also be painted Word Bearers.

What about Kharn though? Part of the reason I'm not painting Abby his canon scheme is I don't personally like the black legion (just my preference) but I really like the World Eaters and Kharn is a pretty cool guy.

So I'm tempted to paint him as a World Eater, or should I just paint him as a Word Bearer? Should I paint a squad of Berserkers as World Eaters to fit in with Kharn?

Should I paint both 'zerker squads as World Eaters so if I start painting another non Word Bearers army I can just use them without it looking silly?

Kharn would never need to be painted as a Word Bearer, he's pretty chill with them all. Except for Erebus. Fuck that guy for what he did to Argal Tal.

I think Kharn and a single squad of zerkers should be in World Eaters livery. Like when I took raptors in my Thousand Sons, I painted them in warband colors with a Tzeentch shoulderpad on to show their original allegiance and who they're currently "working for".

I think it'll add that cool story element of your general being crazy enough to rally Kharn to his cause.

That aspiring champion(for those of you who don't suffer from chaos I mean Sargent), my eyes are lost in his sea of gold he calls hair (a name which insults just how glorious it is)
