So my computer has had a few errors and window explorer shutting off. And now it just keep crashing.
I can run in safe mode. Did a memory diagnostic as well as scaned for viruses and such but nothing has worked.
Any suggestions? Or is my computer a large paper weight now?

check your heat level... repeated crashing is overheating alot of times...

well air spray is alright, but opening it up and lightly brushing most stuff off would be best especially seeing if the fan needs it

Always use caution when using canned air as if the can in not held upright there is a risk of fluid coming out and causing a short. I away ask these questions when people are having pc issues: What operating system are you using? What anti-virus program do you use? When did you last update your anti-virus program? When did you last update windows? What downloads were done recently (last week)? Have you added any new components recently? Did you open any attachments from unknown sources? If you can function okay in safe mode then does the pc shut down if left on for a while: hence if your CPU fan is not working then the system will still overheat and shut down even in safe mode. I have seen similar types of issues you have described with heat related problems, faulty power supply, or 'blaster type' viruses. Hope this info helps

Im using windows 7. I use avg free and updated it recently. i havent updated windows lately that i know of. I might try that. I just put on star craft 2 heart of the swarm on he computer and down load a couple things but i always scan then before i open it. I dont open unknown attachment. I can run it on safe mode for a long time i had it on there and did a virus scan as well as used c cleaner. But its still doing it. Sent from my GT-I9100M using proboards

There's lot of things that can cause something like that, so help narrow it down even further:
1) What was the very last thing you did on the computer before this started to happen? If you updated something, changed a driver, installed a program or game, that is the likely culprit. Try removing it from the computer if you can.
2) Have you tried a windows restore? (restores your OS to it's last save point, if something messed with your OS this should fix it)
3) If neither of the above has worked, your likely going to need either computer skills (back up your data and re-format the machine) or your going to need to take it to a professional.

4) If it's getting old replace it.

Do you have the windows 7 disk? I went through the restore, had good scans etc but some how a couple windows exec files got corrupted. Had to back it all up reinstalled w my original windows disks and all was good

Well still doing it. We have narrowed it down to ether hard drive or operating system. I cannot find my windows 7 cd so can't do anything about that unless i get a new os but if i upgrade to 8 i might as well get a new computer. So we may just do that.
