I have a question about initiative steps and the simultaneity of attacks. The stone of rebirth is a wood elf item, grants a 2+ ward save to a character on his last wound. If he is wounded several times at the same initiative can I say that x wounds go through putting him to 1 wound, and from here on he has a 2+ ward, even though those attacks happened at the same time? Thanks

yep, as he loses wounds the save kicks in at the last one you take... so probably need to take them one or two at a time if his saves are different... until you get to that last wound at least...

Thanks to the FAQ, the stone of rebirth has been made quite good. It works exactly as you described, with the last wound getting a 2+ ward. The one exception is for something that would kill the model outright like a cannon ball or killing blow (assuming the model has more than 1 wound at the time). However, once the ward save kicks in, it can be used over and over again. While this is in direct contradiction to the "one use only" description in the book, I guess the GW FAQ writers decided to throw the woodelves a bone
