Another issue may be frenzy with their leadership. What are everyone's thoughts on the bonus attack on a 6 occurring with supporting attacks, yeah or nay? I take it this is in reference to the PF rule and a 6 granting an extra attack for models that are giving supporting attacks. The wording is quite specific on page 49 WRT supporting attacks being limited to 1 and only 1 for units that are not MC or MI. In particular, the last part of para 2 denies any bonus attacks for any reason whatsoever as follows, ",... or any bonus Attacks he might otherwise be entitled to because of special rules or other unusual effects." Quite clear IMHO, I think a bunch of folks are just grasping at straws that are arguing otherwise.

so can that bsb ride a carnasaur? yes, I know this idea is terrible... however lord kroak and a carnasaur riding bsb sounds cool looking.. and all the temple guard/saurus with warpaint resembling skulls on their shields and faces... couple beasties and ancient stegs oooh yeah, I can already see the theme emerging now... I call it "shoot cannonball over here"... but it's a name in progress....

I feel like my army list for this book could be dealt with by 2 cannons, one at either end of the board.
How many big dinos can you fit into one list? I think I'll find out as soon as I get a day off.

How many big dinos can you fit into one list? I think I'll find out as soon as I get a day off. My best estimate for a 2400 point list is 5-6 big dinos, broken down as follows: Lords: Carnie Lord Heroes: 2 x skink chief on ancient stegs or replace one with scar vet & carnie Then either Special or Rare of ~600 points with the rest for core minimum. Special Option: 2 x baby stegs 1 x beastie boy Rare Option: 2 x ancient stegs, fully beefed up (the 3 x troglodon option fits in points wise but the model is both ugly and useless, hence I ignored this option).

Skinks for troops?

Sure, why not. You could fit in close to 100 skirmishers since there will be some points left over from the carnie lord.

so does this mean that when attacking with Saurus that different dice have to be used for the first rank?
(and I'm pretty sure it means cannons are manditory for facing Lizzies, tho those Skinks know their job & do it well!)

If only I could take cannons... so does this mean that when attacking with Saurus that different dice have to be used for the first rank? I would assume that you are correct in that respect.

Yes, different dice are needed for saurus in the first rank since only they will benefit from the predatory fighter rule.

What are peoples thoughts on skrox with the new rules vs going straight krox. 6 krox vs 24 skinks with 3 krox. Skrox pros Core Can have a banner for one scenario Ranks, maybe enough for steadfast
Cons More vulnerable to stomp, t stomp, Fewer high str attacks
Any thoughts?
