40K Day

Hey!

I was just wondering where are all 40K players. Now that the campaign is over I would like to know what would be the best day for all of you to come and organize games like Thursday Fantasy. Also I would like to know what you guys would like to do so we can give suggestion to Mike. For example an other type of campaign or anything you guys can think.

It seems that Saturday afternoon seemed to work for a lot of people (for the campaign anyways)... weekends can be really busy though, especially in summer... but even with that, people seemed to come out

Thursday fantasy actually took quite a while to get a fairly consistent group.... we just kept going there every week and playing, and it eventually caught on as the night to play WHFB... it used to be Saturday night when house of pain was there at the store....(I also put a poster up at Nexus, which kind of helped)

but it took quite a few times, and there were times it was two or three of us only there!

Yeah thats the problem Its been a while I went there on Saturday because when me and Trevor were going we were 2 maybe 3 . So I want to know is it still that day that people want to play 40K or we can change that. Personnally, I still send message to people and do my 1 or 2 game per week but it would be nice to meet all together and play

yeah i work till 3 most saturdays and usually have to do something with the gf after so i havent been out much on saturdays. some people have been going on tuesdays mornings. I was going then and got a couple games in but i have been working tuesdays the last while so i havent been able to.

i sec all that i live a 1hour way i can just swing one day week if i was closer i be in for more 40k

would certainly hope not.... however if you feel that you are a competitive player, and would like to play for PRIZES we have an upcoming King-Con tournament in September that may be what you're looking for... alot of players, fully painted armies mandatory, and lots of competition from all over the region (and a few from Ottawa usually make an appearance)

@ danydaigle24, yes, I am fairly new. I moved to Kingston several months ago but I have not yet graced Nexus Gaming with my presence. I play the Blenheim Brigade, a custom chapter using the basic Space Marine codex. Its primary/secondary colours are green/red. I have roughly 3500 points worth. Despite recent metagame trends, I still tend not to run mechanized.

Actually, I was thinking I might make my first appearance at the King Con tournament and announce my presence by tabling my opponents in every game. If you're a good player, you'll be able to play me at the final table, though.
