Ok, so admittedly this isn’t going to be a full battle report as the rest of the game was fairly lackluster.
It was turn 3 and I had all my zombies on objectives hiding in cover, one of my units got charged by… Tau and dude accepted the challenge. Rolls were made and to my surprise the zombie champion (first time ever) won a challenge! I was all excited so I went to the boon chart and rolled, as the dice tumbled to a stop I found myself staring at boxcars.
The chaos gods were indeed fickle beings as I removed my lowly zombie champion, most worthless of all champions and replaced him with a demon prince. It’s a good thing I was playing at home, otherwise I’d have had to remove him as a casualty!
That is all, I just felt I needed to share that singularly random and awesome moment. In case anyone is interested I won the game by a point.
