couple of questions how do you swooping hawk grenade packs work in regards to blast size
and I'm fuzzy on the rules for kill teams do you have to take an entire squad or can you just take one or two models from the squadfor example just one dire Avenger or do I have to take 5 thank you in advance

You are required to take a legal squad size... so five dire avengers at minimum... up to a maximum squad size (so 30 orks for example) once the game starts each individual avenger/ork/gant/spash mareen acts as his own little individual squad of one dude running about as a lone model. He shoots independently, makes saves independently, etc.
so swooping hawks... you must take at least five guys... they aren't allowed to start in reserve (no one can!) but by their rules they can bounce back into reserve... ONE of them (you have to designate who) carries the grenade pack for the squad (they don't get five grenade packs!) so they deep strike back into play (if they leap into the sky for example) and one guy gets to be the designated grenade holder for the squad and fires off the grenade pack as per normal... the key is you get one per squad, not one per guy (that would be pretty unfair don't ya think?)

Signing up as we speak. 7th doesn't seem to have changed how this will work beyond a few USR changes.
The one question I have is how a unit acts while it's embarked on a transport. If I have 5 Scouts on a Land Speeder Storm do they still fire off of it individually, or do they target as a squad in that case?

when embarked they act as a single unit until they disembark (otherwise only one scout could embark!)... so yes, they can hose down that one ork boy REAL good while embarked...lol...
re-embarking though once they get out is a little different... only one scout could go back in as once they embark they count as independent units....

Sadly I am not going to be able to attend. According to my calendar this is Bass season opening day. I will be out fly fishing for the day.

I'm trying to convince the wife to come. She tends to enjoy the game played at a very small scale.
