If you're not going to make it please let nexus know if you're already signed up. We go by these signup sheets to determine printing of scenarios etc. as well as if we have enough numbers to actually run the tournament. Basically if we don't have enough interest the idea gets shelved unfortunately!

Yeah we're not changing the format of the tourney at this point. This is going ahead as a Kill Team event and hopefully we get the numbers to justify doing it again in the future as I think (and several others thought as well) that it would be a fun format.
You and Bruno are more than welcome to attend and play kill teams - it'll be fun!

I think the kill team tournament is a great idea. It sounds like so much fun. If I didnt have plans already I would be there in s heart beat. I am tempted to cancel my plans just to attend. Hehe

Well this one is happening... the turnout just determines whether or not we do one again vote with your attendance... the well attended formats get on the schedule for next year!

We've currently got a dozen signed up, so we've definitely got the numbers to run it! 8 games throughout the day, and as we tested yesterday they go SUPER quick so we'll for sure be able to stay on schedule even with that crazy amount of games! sign up on the Nexus site here: kingstonnexus.ca/?event=40k-kill-team-mini-tournamentjust takes a minute but reserves your spot and also tells us how many copies of forms we need to print!!!!

Just a reminder that this is going on this Saturday... so far we've got 13, but I know that some people were planning on coming that aren't on this list. If you can sign up at the nexus site: kingstonnexus.ca/?event=40k-kill-team-mini-tournamentit lets me know how many scenarios / score sheets to print out. You don't want me killing trees unnecessarily do you?

Don't forget to indicate on your army list which models are your specialists and what upgrades they have from the specialist list in the player pack.
I'll have leader record sheets done up for everyone so that's taken care of.

Unfortunately it looks like life is going to get in the way for me to play tomorrow. Best of luck to everyone and have fun.

Had a great time today. A lot of fun games and great to see a lot of old faces and a couple new ones.
Hope this can become one of our yearly events

Question about the kill team results, how could Chris bring a destroyer lord? Does he count as a fast still?

Sorry, heavy destroyer and destroyer - you can upgrade one to a heavy destroyer... but by the end of the day he had enough upgrades to truly be a destroyer lord!!!
(I've corrected the results post)
