Alpha Testing - Beyond the Gates of Antares

If anyone likes fiddling with new rule sets, Rick Priestly is launching an alpha test of his new game 'Beyond the Gates of Antares' through his Warlord Games company. It is a sci-fi game, supposedly scalable from skirmish to mass battle size.

Is this the one he ran (and cancelled) a Kickstarter for so that they could take more time for development before attempting funding again?

It ran on a d10 system, didn't it? Or am I making that last part up lol

It is the same Kickstarter that was cancelled. I was watching it at the time and I think it was a case of bad timing (started right after Christmas) and I think there was something similar already running or had just finished (Kickstarter fatigue).

Rules wise, from what I can glean, it will use the Bolt Action order dice system for initiative and either d10's straight up or percentile for rolling.
