If anyone likes fiddling with new rule sets, Rick Priestly is launching an alpha test of his new game 'Beyond the Gates of Antares' through his Warlord Games company. It is a sci-fi game, supposedly scalable from skirmish to mass battle size. To participate, you must first be a member of the Warlord Games forums - here --> forumsand then can sign up for the alpha - here --> Alpha sign-upBeyond the Gates of Antares overview --> here

Is this the one he ran (and cancelled) a Kickstarter for so that they could take more time for development before attempting funding again?
It ran on a d10 system, didn't it? Or am I making that last part up lol

It is the same Kickstarter that was cancelled. I was watching it at the time and I think it was a case of bad timing (started right after Christmas) and I think there was something similar already running or had just finished (Kickstarter fatigue).
Rules wise, from what I can glean, it will use the Bolt Action order dice system for initiative and either d10's straight up or percentile for rolling.
