The style will be a 100 point list dogfight tournament as scenarios are too unbalanced for competitive play.
- You can short yourself points in a bid for initiative; otherwise Imperials will always have initiative.
There will be FOUR 75 minute rounds!!!
Mirror Matches are in effect!
- A Mirror Match is a game between two players from the same faction. This is something to consider when building your list.
- Initiative in a Mirror Match is determined first by squad points. If squad points are even, then initiative is determined by coin flip or a single d6 die roll (odds/even)
Asteroid placement
- at the start of each round the person with initiative chooses one of their six asteroids and places it in the play area anywhere further than Range 2 from the mat's edge
- the second player then takes one of the initiative player's asteroids and places it anywhere on the map further than Range 2 of the mat's edge and no closer than Range 1 of any asteroid
- repeat the process till all asteroids are placed.
- the second player then chooses their table edge.
Damage Deck
- each player will bring their own deck of damage cards as found in the starter box
- at the start of each round before ships are placed, each player will shuffle their own deck then allow their opponent to cut/shuffle their deck
- whenever a ship is damaged the owner of the damaged ship will draw a card from their own deck and apply it to their own ship
Please bring:
All appropriate ships and movement dials (no proxies please)
All appropriate pilot and upgrade cards
All necessary tokens for your list (ion; target lock; focus; evade; etc)
Maneuver templates
Attack and Defense dice
Damage Deck as found in the starter box
A complete set of 6 Asteroids as found in the starter box
A coin or six-sided die for Mirror Match initiative
A pen or other writing utensil
A copy of your squad list for you, your opponent, and another the TO
A great attitude as we're all here to HAVE FUN!!!!

SCORING SYSTEM
· Match Win = 5 tournament points - destroying all opponent ships and having at least one ship remaining (respecting Simultaneous Attack Rule)
· Modified Match Win = 3 tournament points - if time is called one player has destroyed at least 12 points more than their opponent
· Draw = 1 tournament point - neither player has a remaining ship via Simultaneous Attack Rule, Rules of Play, Page 16 - or when time is called you have equal scores
· Match Loss = 0 tournament points
Prizes for 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place!
