there were six players for it... it was small for sure but for Malifaux it was pretty positive! (and Ali and Mike couldn't play because we were at even numbers and someone had to run the store/tourney so there were actually two more crews available for it)
and everyone had a different crew so it was pretty cool.
There was the Victoria's, Sonnia Criid, Ramos, Seamus, Marcus and Von Schill
I got to play against Ramos, Seamus and Marcus... luckily I was doing poorly enough to get to avoid the Victoria's and Von Schill as they were definitely causing a lot of pain all day!
It was funny though, because my first game I was playing like any other miniature game, where I had the opponent down to one model and my crew was pretty much completely untouched... then I had this realization that all this time I wasn't putting down scheme markers and actually playing the mission and it was turn four... and my crew was slow as dirt and I had to get moving across the board! was a very good lesson for me (that I keep forgetting) that malifaux is not like other games, you need to concentrate on the mission from the beginning turns, not just at the end!
If you were looking at the game from a warmahordes or 40k perspective you'd go "wow that guy's nearly tabled" but from a Malifaux perspective anyone looking at the game would go, "wow that Sonnia Crew (mine) is getting steamrolled on the mission objectives"
